Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Nilus.
As CTO. I lead the team that defines the technology, integration, and development path at Nilus. I manage and spec all the projects and requirements for each new technology feature, product, or service launched by Nilus. I lead strategic meetings with technology providers; I analyze & measure the implicit effects and efforts related to providers' technologies and services. I make many technology-related decisions, and of course, I do a lot of research about possibilities for technology driven innovation in the company areas.
Duties
These were my basic duties and responsabilities at this position.
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Help departments use technology profitably
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
- Meet with technology services providers
- Work effectively with non-technical members of the company, as a leader on the development team
- Ability to identify problems with requirements, identify alternatives, and help teams navigate through these issues
- Work with project managers on estimating the feasibility and complexity of new products/features
- Participate in the planning process for software development projects, and ensure meeting quality and deadlines on delivery
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
